CBD Oil and You
What is CBD oil? And how can it benefit you? This article will explain everything you need to know about this amazing product.
There are many reasons why people choose to use CBD oil. Here are some of them:
The first thing you should know about CBD oil is that it comes from hemp which is a cannabis Sativa plant, which means it contains less than 0.3 percent THC, the psychoactive compound found in adult-use cannabis. That said, there are still plenty of reasons why people use CBD today. Some find relief from chronic pain, while others want to limit inflammation. And some simply enjoy the fact that CBD makes them feel calm, relaxed, and clear-headed.
CBD oil is made from hemp plants. It contains very little THC (the psychoactive euphoric ingredient in adult-use cannabis). Instead, it contains cannabidiol (CBD), a compound that has many beneficial effects on our bodies. CBD oil goes into all of these products except our CBD-free Bath salts!!
Hemp throughout History
Hemp has been used medicinally for thousands of years, and today it is legal to grow in many states. In fact, hemp is used to make paper, clothing, and many other products. CBD oil is extracted from the flowers, leaves, and stalks of the hemp plant. Because it does not contain high amounts of THC, CBD oil does not cause euphoric feelings, but instead a sense of calm. That means it won’t get you high. In fact, some people use CBD oil for relief from anxiety, stress, pain, inflammation, and other conditions without getting high at all. Many are finding that pets benefit from CBD oil as well, helping them with everything from appetite to relief from occasional pain increasing their mobility. It is like oil for their joints!

Using CBD Oil for Specific Results
Often people use CBD oil for certain results such as quality sleep or after a workout. Taking a CBD oil edible, soft gel, or tincture before sleep helps many people fall asleep or have quality sleep. The CBD acts on the endocannabinoid system which regulates, sleep, eating, regulating intestinal homeostasis as this article and study tested: and many more basic functions of life. Harvard Medical School writes:
“The ECS regulates and controls many of our most critical bodily functions such as learning and memory, emotional processing, sleep, temperature control, pain control, inflammatory and immune responses, and eating. The ECS is currently at the center of renewed international research and drug development.”
